China's ruling Communist Party expels former chief of sports body

BEIJING — China's ruling Communist Party has expelled Gou Zhongwen, the former director of the State General Administration of Sport, dismissing him from public offices for serious violations of law and discipline, state media said on Thursday (Dec 12).
